Jazirah’s legal expertise spans corporate law, capital markets, and Islamic finance. Her financial acumen extends to analysis and advisory services. She is a proven project manager, having successfully been a part of a highly professional team of BOSTON ADVISORY LIMITED and DSU BROKERAGE SERVICES LIMITED in delivering a 20 billion Naira bond issuance project for Kano State. In the realm of ADR, Jazirah is skilled in both mediation and arbitration. Her passion for advocacy is reflected in her work on women’s rights, child rights, and healthcare access.
Jazirah holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Igbinedion University Okada and has Master of Law specializing in Islamic Banking and Finance (IIIBF) from the institute of Islamic Banking and Finance Bayero University Kano.

Her experience includes her role at the Public Complaints Commission (THE NIGERIAN OMBUDSMAN) and her tenure at DSU Brokerage Services Limited, where she served as Non-Executive Director, General Manager, Senior Manager, Legal Analyst within the Capital Market Team and a compliance officer with the Securities and exchange commission.

Jazirah actively participates in a number of professional organizations, including the Nigerian Bar Association, FIDA International Federation of Women Lawyers, the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals of Nigeria. Her commitment to social good is further demonstrated by her involvement with the Muslim Association of Nigeria, the Food Bank Charity Association of Nigeria, and Compassionate Friends.
